Defending Democracy for a Healthier Arizona

Healthcare Rising is building a movement of everyday Arizonans ready to win healthcare justice and a stronger democracy — because when politicians and billionaires attack our voting rights, they make it harder for ordinary people to win the healthcare, wages, and freedoms our communities need to thrive.

This year, Arizona politicians are escalating attacks on voting rights and direct democracy after Healthcare Rising won major positive changes on the ballot in the last three elections. Now, ordinary Arizonans are organizing to fight back and protect vote-by-mail and early voting — and we need you to get involved.

Leaders in Action

“I’m working with Healthcare Rising Arizona because they want to put people first and profits second. As a nurse, I advocated for one patient at a time. This way, I can advocate for all patients, all the time, in Arizona.”

– Pam Sylvis, Retired Nurse and Contributing Member

We can fix Arizona healthcare

Arizona’s healthcare system doesn’t work the way it should. Big business doesn’t care to fix the problem because there’s no money in it, and politicians are too busy fighting each other to get anything done for us. But we can create change by acting together.

Join your fellow Arizonans to make healthcare work for you!

Arizonans Passed Prop 139 to End Arizona’s Abortion Ban

Politicians are never more qualified to make personal decisions about pregnancy and abortion than women. That’s why Arizonans across the state voted to pass our citizen-led initiative to lift Arizona’s dangerous abortion ban and keep the government out of our medical decisions.
